This work tries to portray a decaying relationship between two family members. I have tried to create this effect by fading the female characters so as to symbolise the disappearence of someone from a person's life.
The initial photograph has been transformed into a black and white photography using Adobe Lightroom before being place on a picture of a decaying wall. The photographs were merged using Adobe Photoshop, in which a gradient map was added to initial image to add the specific colours and a splater effect was added to make the facade of a graffiti more prominent.

This work related to a Sanskrit word - Ishika, which mean sacred pen/brush. By over lapping the photographs of an eye and the sky, I tried to protray the illusionist world we live in where our eyes have been trained accept any fallacy we are subjected to.
The photograph of the eye was taken with the sole pupose of including a shadow of the eyelashes in the iris to expolre the concept of entrapment. It has been overlayed with a photographs of a partially cloudy sky in Adobe Photoshop. Foloowing this, a brush tool was used to create brush strokes around the face and eyelids.
